Hypothesis : The visking tubing with the highest concentration of sucrose will have the
highest rate of osmosis.
Materials : Boiling tubes, Distilled water , Measuring cylinder, Beaker, Visking tubing,
Sucrose, Stopwatch, Stirring rod, Wooden stick, Rubber band, Analytical balance, Food
coloring.
Variables :
Independent : The rate of solvent concentration
Dependent : Volume of water in tubing and the rate of osmosis increase or decrease.
Control : amount of distilled water in those boiling tubes.
