Company, City, State | 2015 – Present
I’m sure you know yet just to remind: 1) please list experiences in reverse chronological order (most current experience first); 2) don’t forget to use right tenses – using past tense for any
previous job and present for your current one. You can just delete this paragraph and go straight
to the bullets.

The First rule is to use action words when giving details describing your work experience.
Put the most relevant and impressive achievements first. Your accomplishments are your
step to success, and are valuable for the company.
We are all hired to be responsible for something yet the company looks for the INPUT,
benefit they will get by having you as a worker.
So describe what you managed, pioneered, achieved and you can use our ACTION
WORD LIST.
The company will look for a TRIO-benefit of how you can help them earn the money,
save the money, or save the time. And the successful resume of your will need to have at
least 2 of those. Don’t forget to add the VALUE and talk numbers wherever possible.
Again, use numbers, amounts, dollar values, and percentages to quantify your accomplishments and responsibilities wherever possible (e.g., "Increased monthly sales by thirty
percent," "Supervised and trained six new employees," "Handled daily receipts totaling
$4000").

Remember the first rule, and then look to match the requirements and responsibilities that
the company is listed. Again use the action words describing your past achievements.
Try to identify even more specific to the job listing skills you have and duties you had.
Job listings are like a puzzle waiting to be completed and your skills should be the pieces
needed to complete it.
Therefore, analyze and analyze the job listing, and mention the skills most suited to the
position. Whatever you do, don’t exaggerate about you qualifications, because a
wrong piece will never fit in once tested.

All job postings are using PDF format of the resumes, so you will need to save the WORD
DOCUMENT as PDF file. And it should be saved as a “borderless” PDF file. Meaning that
there should not be any white/extra space around the title and the PDF should look exactly as you see it now. Please check out VIDEO tutorial of how to save your resume as
PDF file.
