The hat of Knowledge and Wisdom
Learners will have the change to pass over the hat of knowledge and wisdom
with the music Bahay Kubo. As the music stops, the one who holds the hat
will answer the question. Using Interactive Quiz.

Lesson Proper
1. Motivation
Teacher will show a picture and ask learners some questions.

2. Lesson Proper:
A. Unlocking of Difficulties:
Before reading the poem, let us read first the meaning of these words which can
be read in the poem.
1. bright - giving out or reflecting a lot of light.
2. creatures - an animal, as distinct from a human being.
3. purple – headed - any of various colors with a hue lying between red
and blue and often highly saturated
4. pleasant - giving a sense of happiness or enjoyment.
5. great - things that are very good, large, or important.
Teacher will show a poem on the screen “ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND
BEAUTIFUL” and will read it first. After, the learners will now read the poem.

B. Analysis:
1. Teacher will show on screen table with list of Nouns found in the poem
and let the learners match it with appropriate descriptive words.

2. Teacher will show sentence with pictures and let the learners read and
analyze it. Ask them what is the adjective in the sentence and the noun
that it describes or modifies.
C. Abstraction:
1. Teacher will ask: from the chart and from the sentences given, what is the
use of descriptive words.
Descriptive word is called as ADJECTIVE, it describes a noun (person,
place , things)
2. Independent Practice:
Show picture to learners and let them compose a sentence using the
picture.

D. Guided Practice:
Group the class into 5. Choose leaders in each group. Each output will be
checked.
