Organization of Forensic Science at central & State in NCRB & NICFS National Crime Records Bureau is a government agency in India responsible for collecting and analyzing crime data as well as maintaining national databases on crimes and criminals. NCRB was established in 1986, and it operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs. NCRB collects and compiles crime data from all the states and union territories in India and releases an annual report called the Crime in India report. This report provides a comprehensive analysis of various types of crimes, including their trends, causes, and preventive measures.
