2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” We are currently experiencing a period of extreme instability, uncertainty, and anxiety. This global pandemic has geographically disconnected us. Our faith has been tested, and our peace of mind has been tainted. However, in this time of noise and chaos, God is there to provide us with silence and stillness. God is our refuge every time the wind roars, the wave gushes, the earth shakes, and the fire burns. His presence brings us peace, hope, and comfort. His words are our swords against despair, loneliness, and worriedness . And no matter what storm we face, we need to know that God loves us and that he has not abandoned us.
