MY REVIEW
This book, probably one of the best
allegorical novels out there, is a great
critique of Authoritarianism, Cults of
Personality, the USSR (Stanilism).
Throughout the book, Animal Farm
becomes State Capitalist going against
what the characters wished for initially.
The characters are well developed and
serve their allegorical roles effectively. The
concise prose style makes the book
accessible to range of readers. Despite
being a commentary on events that
occurred nearly a century ago, "Animal
Farm" remains relevant today as a
cautionary tale about the dangers of
authoritarianism, propaganda, and the
erosion of democratic ideals.
