The reason to as why there is a need to share the words of God is written in
the bible itself. Romans chapter 10 verse 15 says, “And how shall they preach, except
they be sent? as it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel
of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” This is basically saying that sharing
the words of God is the bare minimum we could do as Christians. That we should
spread the words of God no matter what and instill into at least someone’s mind and
heart the grace, compassion, love, and mercy of God to His children. I mean Jesus
is the only way to heaven as said in John 14;16 “I am the way and the truth and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through me” that clearly shows the
importance of bible sharing.
Being on a bible sharing group is magnificent in of itself, but if you’re actually
the one sharing, it brings this sense of relief and delight. Knowing the words of God
by heart and sharing them with your mouth is extremely rewarding. It’s seemed like
that God is actually by your side, whispering in your ears His words which is
fascinating.
The practice of bible sharing is extremely vital in my Christian life, as it bring
out my own incredible from within. I always feel honored whenever I hold the bible
alone, but to read it to a number of people is on another level. Sharing the gospel of
the Lord is something that can be considered as a rectitude of Christian’s
righteousness.
Lord, I pray for wisdom as I prepare to share your words. Please open
my eyes to the truth embedded in your word. Let your word change my actions
and focus only in the path that you wanted me to walk into. I pray also that
everyone here would open their mind, hearts, and soul as we embark with you
in this journey. I pray the truth we find here will revitalize our hearts and minds
to follow more after you. Amen.
