Project Manager-Aerospace & Defence
About Pinaka Aerospace
Pinaka Aerospace Solutions Pvt. Ltd. was setup in 2007 with the explicit desire
amongst the founders to serve India’s burgeoning defence and aerospace requirements
with best-in-class products and services. Pinaka has been fulfilling this goal via the
development of technologies that meet stringent quality norms, designing and
developing products and solutions suitable for operational readiness of the Indian
soldier, airmen and her sailors, and providing value-added services to support India’s
Armed Forces, the Defence R&D Organization and Defence PSUs.
Headquartered in Bangalore, Pinaka Aerospace setup its New Delhi office in 2014, and
branches in Hyderabad and Chennai in 2016. Pinaka’s personnel are also widely
deployed in many other cities, working closely with customers onsite.
After beginning as a provider of software development and testing services, Pinaka has
since established itself as a lead provider of technologies, products and solutions in
addition to value-add services. Pinaka’s offerings range from Test and Measurement
systems, Test Rigs & Jigs, Simulators, Calibrators, Airborne Avionics, Ground-Support
Systems and Data Acquisition and Analysis Systems. These are a part of key aircraft
of the IAF including the Tejas LCA, Jaguars, Sukhoi-30, etc., missile systems, radar
systems, infantry combat vehicles and naval frigates. These are developed using
Pinaka’s strong capabilities in the areas of RF technologies, Electronics and Embedded
Systems, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems and Software.
Quality has been an important aspect of Pinaka right from inception. One foundational
cultural tenet of Pinaka is to set a bar higher than even the most exacting standards
demanded by our customers. The certifications of Pinaka, from ISO-9001:2015
covering organizational processes, to CEMILAC for R&D to meet airworthiness norms,
to DGAQA to meet India’s Defence Procurement Manual requirements for production,
maintenance, repair and overhaul, and the International AS9100D:2016 are a
testimony to the company’s commitment to quality.
In 2015, Pinaka raised funding via the Venture Capital fund, KITVEN. Another round
of funding was raised in 2017. These helped Pinaka scale operations, increase
engineering strength to over 120, extend capacity, and move into market adjacencies.
Today, the Pinaka brand is well known and well respected amongst our customers and
ecosystem partners. The company’s mission of consistently delivering timely, highquality, reliable, and cost-effective technology solutions and services keeps us aligned
to the desire to me the most admired defence and aerospace company.
