WHY ARE THOSE COMPONENTS GOOD FOR YOU? Fruits and Vegetables They give us vitamins to keep the sickness away WHY ARE THOSE COMPONENTS GOOD FOR YOU? Carbohydrates It gives us energy. WHY ARE THOSE COMPONENTS GOOD FOR YOU? Proteins It helps us to build our muscles. WHY ARE THOSE COMPONENTS GOOD FOR YOU? Dairy It gives us calcium to keep our bones and teeth strong. NOW LET’S DO AN ACTIVITY Let’s create a healthy balanced meal using real food, play dough or papers. Things you need: 1 Plate, 1 Cup Choose 1 fruit. Example: apple Choose 1 vegetable. Example: broccoli Choose 1 of protein source. Example: chicken Choose 1 carbohydrate. Example: rice Choose 1 dairy product.
