Task 1. Robustness.
Calculations are for n = 2 (for self-degradation).
If b = 3, then:
T1 = 0.365
T2 = 0.694
If b is increased by 30%, that is, b = 3.9, then:
T1 = 0.275. Decreased by 24.7%
T2 = 0.777. Increased by 12%
If b is decreased by 30%, that is, b = 2.1, then:
T1 = 0.547. Increased by 49.9%
T2 = 0.562. Decreased by 19%
Conclusion.
T2 is more robust than T1. The reason is that when b (production rate) changes, then T2
experiences less deviation than T1 (12% and 19% against 24.7% and 49.3%).
