Motivation:
4 PICS 1 WORD!
Before we proceed to our topic, we will be
having an activity first which is 4 Pics 1 Word.
Do you know how to play it?
Before we start our lesson, we will play 4 pics
1 word first. I will group you into 2 groups, this
group will be the group 1 and this group will be
the group 2. In each group, you will going to
choose 3 representatives to represent the
group.
I will be showing pictures and you are going to
guess what the pictures all about. There are
jumbled letters here and what you will going to
do is to arrange it to form a word then if you
know the answer you need to flip the bottle first
before you answer on the board. You have 1
minute timer to flip the bottle. The one who will
make the bottle stand will be the first to answer
on the board and he/she will get a prize.
However, if the other group didn’t still make the
bottle stand after the timer, he/she will proceed
to answer on the board but you will not get any
prizes. Did you get it?

Presentation of the Lesson:
Our topic today is all about the father’s love
towards his daughter. I have here a video clip
that you will be going to watch. While you are
watching the video clip, I will pause it twice
So every time I pause the video, you are going
to guess or formulate your own prediction on
what will happen next in the video. Did you
understand?
I love my father very much. I love him more
than I loved myself. I study hard in order to
make him proud and obey him just to make
him happy. I will do anything just to pay
him back because I owe him my life and
where I am now is all because of him.

Discussion:
In the video that you have watch a while ago, it
is all about the daughter who wishes to have a
better father because his father is deaf and
mute. Due to the disability of her father, she got
bullied in her school. They call her father dumb
and deaf.
In that situation, the daughter hated his father
too much because she is blaming him for being
bullied in the school.
In the first scene, what will be your prediction
or your guess what’s going to happen next in
the video and reason why you say it so?
Why you say it so?
Very good! So her guess is that the daughter
will be rebelling to her deaf and mute father
because she hates him very much. She is
blaming his father because she got bullied in her
school due to the disability of her father.

At the first scene, I think the daughter will
be rebel at her deaf-mute father.

prediction or guess on what will be going to
happen next in the video?

I think the father will sacrifice his own life
and donate his blood in order for her
daughter to live.

Ma’am it is because the father said that he
is willing to take his blood in order to donate
it to his daughter.

Based from the video clip, all of your guesses
are correct. So as you can see, the father’s love
towards his daughter is also unconditional like
your mother’s love to you. In the video, you can
see the sacrifice of the father to his daughter
despite of his disability. He is doing his best in
order to provide the needs of his daughter but
his daughter didn’t see it because of the hatred
she felt towards his father. She is wishing to
Ma’am I think the father will save his
daughter.
It is because he loves his daughter very
much.

have a better father who can listen to her hopes
and fears. A father like someone else’s, who
speaks and understand her. She is wishing a
father like that because she was bullied in the
school because of the disability and condition of
her father.
For you, do you think is that enough reason for
you to hate your father and wishing a better
father? Why or why not?
Exactly, you should not be affected by the
others’ opinion instead you should show your
love to him and you need to fight for him like
what he did.
After watching the whole video clip, what do
you think will happen to the father and
daughter?
Very good idea, Karen. What else?
Yes very good Gian. So maybe that will be
happen to the daughter and father. Now, Do
you agree with how the daughter treated her
father? Why or why not?
Exactly, being treated like that is not
appropriate and not right for the father. It is too
bad for him to be treated like that instead, you
need to treat him right, show your care and love
to him because of his disability.
No Ma’am. It is because you should not be
affected by what people saying towards to
you. Instead, you should love your father
more despite his situation.
Ma’am maybe they will reunite and her
daughter will turn into better. The daughter
will ask for forgiveness to his father.
The daughter will live because his father
sacrifice and donated his blood to his
daughter.
No Ma’am. It is because it hurts to the part
of his father that he receives unwell
treatment from her daughter.
Now, all of these pictures on this board are all
the characteristics of a father in the video clip.

here a quotation comes from the video you have
watched.
It says here that,
“There are no perfect fathers. But a father
