THE GOLDEN RULE
Always create an opportunity from the primary contact
PM Pull Through: This is an important metric for
determining the life-time value of our PMs. Please
make sure to check if the Opp was generated from
pull-through.
Before Awarding : In the details section, check that
the Opp is in the correct RMS Location and it is the
correct account. This ensures the correct Job
Number and Customer Number for Accounting.
Take care of your babies: Opportunities are
neglected if there has been: No activity in the last
30 days, has no future activities, or an expired close
date. Pro-Tip: After creating the Opp, immediately
add a future task.

CREATE THE OPPORTUNITY RIGHT
AWAY! DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE
PROPOSAL.
CHANGE REQUESTS
FOR JOB ORDERS ONLY.
IF THE WRONG ACCOUNT IS RELATED
TO AN OPPORTUNITY, YOU NEED TO
CREATE A NEW QUOTE.
THE GOLDEN RULE
Always use the Project Breakdown Report when reviewing
quotes. The other is confusing AF!
Recalling Quotes: If the quote is waiting for
approval and you need to make changes, recall the
quote from the approval section.
Pricing Updates: Price changes happen
frequently. If your quote is more than 3 months
old, You’ll want to re-enter your line items.
Pro-Tip: simply copy the line item and delete the
previous line.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT
QUOTE SYNC BEFORE AWARDING.

Always provide a clear subject. Good -> Spoke about
competitors quote. Bad -> Call
Logging Emails: You won’t need to log every email.
Only conversations like customer approvals,
inquires or something of relevance.
Deactivating Contacts: Always deactivate the
from the Contact. Unless, The Contact is still
active at another location or Account. Then
deactivate from the Account.
Digital Engagement: You can view how customers
are interacting with us. From the Contact List,
switch to My Contacts - Pardot Activity or from a
Contact click on the Engagement History Tab
