SUMMARY:
Having more than 23 years’ experience in Inspection, Design, Construction &
installation in Oil & Gas, Commercial & industrial projects as a Mechanical
Engineer for pipeline, piping, EPC & MEP works.
1. JOB PROFILE & RESPONSILBILITY:
 Perform Pre Inspection Meeting (PIM) at initial project stage
for review of PO and project requirements.
 Inspection of Raw materials (Plates, Pipes, Flanges, Gaskets,
Bolt & Nuts, welding consumable etc.) and review the
Material Test Certificates (MTCs) as per applicable material
code and client specification.
 Monitoring / Witnessing of all the Welding related activities
(before, during and after) as per client approved Inspection
Test Plan, Quality Control procedures, approved GA
drawings, WPS & client specification etc.
 Witness of Welding Procedure Qualification and Welder
Performance Qualification test.
 Witness of PMI test, Hardness test, tensile test, bend test,
impact test, macroscopic examination and review of all test
reports according to applicable standard, client approved
procedure and project specification.
 Perform the Stage wise inspection of fabrication as per ITP
and approved GA drawing etc.
 Monitor and witness of welding parameters for the Processes
such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW & SAW etc...
 Witness of Non Destructive Tests (NDT) such as Ultrasonic
test, Penetrant test, Magnetic Particle test, Visual and Leak
Testing etc… and review the supplier reports.
 RT films interpretation and reports review as per project
specification and standard.
 Witness of visual and final dimension inspection as per
procedure, ITP and approved GA drawing etc.
 Witness of Weld repair activities as per client approved
WPS.
 Punch List preparation before Hydro Test.
 Witness of thickness measurement on dish end, plates,
flanges, piping etc.
 Issue of Non- conformance reports & verification of
Corrective/Preventive action of supplier.
 Review of Daily Welding reports, Weld summary, PWHT
report and chart.
 Witness of Hydrostatic test, Pneumatic test, filled water test,
vacuum box test, Shop trial Run test, Performance test,
NPSH test, Strip test etc. as per client approved procedures
and applicable standard.
 Witness of Hydro shell test, Hydro seat test & pneumatic
seat test, Gas test, Torque test, operational test, trial fit test
for valves.
 In service inspection at Oil wellhead as painting and
insulation inspection of above ground Piping system, piping
supports, metallic structure, Skids, storage tanks, Valves,
Flanges, Bolts and nuts etc.
 Witness of Surface preparation & painting inspection
activities for buried new pipe lines as visual, DFT Holiday
inspection of Field Joint Coating (HBE-FJC), full holiday
inspection of FBE coating before lowering and back filling.
 Witness of Surface preparation & painting inspection
activities for pressure vessels, Crane Structures, Various
Furnace Accessories Assembly, Piping Assemblies,
Centrifugal Pumps, Valves etc.
 Witness of Coating inspection of Single Layer External FBE
coating of line pipes
 Witness of the final inspection for equipment as internal
assembly check, Verification of Name plate, internal
cleaning, marking and Packing inspection etc…
 Preparing daily and weekly inspection reports and issuing
Inspection Release Certificate (IRC).
 Coordination with client inspectors for inspections of Hold
and Witness Point.
 Actively involved and participated during progress meetings
(internal & external)
 Familiar in reading/review of GA & fabrication drawings
and interpreting welding symbols.
 Review of supplier drawings, reports, procedure &
documents such as all NDT reports, WPS, PQR, WPQ, weld
map, NDE operator qualification, PWHT report and chart,
NDE procedures, supplier inspection report and Manufacture
Data Book (MDB) etc. As per client specification and
standard.
 To Forecast and plan the requirement of QC departments in
the area of authority, with respect to owner Quality
requirements as per the relevant documents/ Project Quality
Manuals etc.
 In depth understanding of various safety methods & proven
skills handling various issues relating to quality measures for
safeguarding Heath, Safety and Environment (HSE) and
H2S.
 An effective communicator with exceptional analytical,
negotiation and relationship management and problems
solving skills with project management
Preparing and monitoring of fabrication sequencing as per codes and standards
during fabrication work is performed in accordance with the approved construction
procedure, specification and correct materials, attending daily meeting. (Production
and safety) Implement the permit to work system. Responsible for Conducting
Daily Tool Box Talk and providing Safety awareness to the Crew members.
Familiar in Erection of Hook up spools in Utility Station and Pumps, Equipment’s,
and vessels. Daily Progress Report follows up. Prepare the one week look ahead
schedule that needs to be submitted to the Planning department for review and
inputs to draw up the final execution plan for the piping department. Proper
arrangement of equipment and manpower based on the site without delaying of
production daily bases. Performing construction and scrapping activities. Supervise
the team for timely and accurate work execution. Ensure that all the work activities
in safe condition and get completed as per the quality norms and as per project
specifications. Participating and preparing of task risk assessment for the given job
to categorize and measure the precaution for the task, carry out job safely.
Responsible for establishing, promote and maintaining a safe and hazard free
working environment. Formulates and develops safety policies and procedures with
the help of the HSE Department. Maintaining proper housekeeping of the work
location.
 Installation of Oil & Gas pipeline & Piping works.
 Ensuring the HSE procedure and precautions to do the work safely.
 Controlling the pipeline, piping and equipment erection and
alignment. Pre-commissioning and commissioning of the completed
facilities.
 Arranging the work execution plan and arranging the required
resources. Ensuring the work procedure as per KOC standard and
specification. Dealing with subcontractor and suppliers for the work
arrangement. Ensuring the QC/QA for the executed work to maintain
the client satisfaction.
 Possess in depth knowledge of proposal and planning, study &
implementation of P&ID Drawings, Installation of pipelines & piping
in KOC as per codes standards & procedures, site supervision,
quantity surveying, estimation, billing & verification, co-ordination,
Hydro test & field engineering.
 Installation of pipeline for various projects Under Project
Management West Kuwait.
 Installation of Fire water line including fire hydrant and hose reel.
 Monitoring and managing with the inspection team for checking the
spools, welding, radiography & Hydro test.
 Installation of fire suppression system piping.
 Procurement of equipment and materials.
 Prepared detailed records of the estimate provided a break up, which
included the material cost and the materials required for the project.
 Compiled the cost of the subcontractors and all the indirect cost that
occurred in the project.
 Ensured that the work was done within the estimate by visiting the site
regularly.
 Coordinated with the other departments and prepared technical
proposals for the organization.
Work Experience:
1-i) Al-Ghanim International Company (Oil & Gas Division) November
2017 to Present (more than two years)
POSITION: Project Engineer (Mechanical)
Duties & Responsibilities: Co-ordination work with M/S Heisco for
fabrication of drain and slurry vessel. Currently involve in the Water
Management Project of KOC for the installation of HVAC System for
four nos. of substation in GC, 3, 4, 7 & 21.
1-ii) Al-Ghanim International Company (Oil & Gas Division) August
2012 to June 2015(about three years)
POSITION: Construction Engineer (Mechanical) Seconded to KOC
Duties & Responsibilities: Inspection Installation & supervision of Pipeline










& Piping works of Oil & Gas projects under Projects Management West
Kuwait.
Completed construction of New Export Maintenance Workshop for
Export Maintenance & Integrated Security System Building Phase-II
project in South Tank Farm (KOC). Ministry had given appreciation
letter for the efforts to complete the Integrated Security System Phase-II
building project.
To Manage Plumbing, Firefighting, & other related Mechanical
construction works.
Supervision of a multi-disciplined construction Team to obtain accepted
KOC contract specifications.
Issue work permits (Hot & cold) to contractors & sub-contractors in
green field as per the approved drawings & review applicable job safety
analysis (JSA).
Ensure all site safety precaution before issuing permit to start the work.
Constructability review of technical drawings & writing comments.
Ensure contractor is following all KOC standards, specification &
approved drawings during work execution related to plumbing, fire
protection, requirements.
Follow up of Daily, weekly and monthly work activities and reports.
Follow up contractor’s work program up to the final acceptance by
Company.
Sign off the contractor’s checklist for completed works as per KOC
standards & procedure, giving suggestion, comments & timeline.
2) Naser Mohammed Al Sayer General Trading & contracting Co.

Duties & Responsibilities: Involved as a Senior Project Engineer in Naser
Mohammed Al Sayer Car Show Room Abo Fatera and Naser Mohd. Al
Sayer Car Show Room Project in Jahra. Involved in the Inspection,
Installation of Equipment & materials.
3) RASCO WLL Kuwait [Year October 2010- Sept 2012] about two
years
POSITION: Senior Project Engineer
-Worked as Mechanical. Engineer (Inspection & Installation) with M/S
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Company WLL -KUWAIT
Involved in the activities of Inspection, Installation, Cost & Estimation
for various tender for KOC, KGOC & KFH.
3) Enkon International Consulting Engineers Pte Ltd Singapore
[April 2009 to May 2010] one year one month
POSITION: Design Engineer, Mechanical (Fire protection Pipeline,
Plumbing Piping, HVAC)
-Involved in the design ,Inspection and execution of Ministry of
Education & Jurong Town Council projects for Mechanical, Electrical,
HVAC, Water supply, Sanitary & Fire protection systems including
pipeline and piping works for the services.
4)Kim Seng Heng Construction Co Pvt Ltd, Singapore [December 2007
to March 2009]one year three months.

- Inspection, Installation, testing, balancing and commissioning of
HVAC, Plumbing and Fire protection systems of major projects (valued
at S$150 million).
