The Future Learn website course is split in two. There are activities you are supposed to do during the first week and activities you should do in the second week. Mainly the course includes: Reading different articles, watching videos, joining discussions and completing exercises. During the first week, you are exploring the types and levels of innovation in the fashion industry. The first activity gives you an overview of what to consider and to bear in mind when thinking about innovation. Also, you can have your say what are your thoughts about this topic and share your ideas. During the second activity, you can learn about their clothing innovation at Marks and Spencer and get to know more about advertising fashion. When the week starts to end there is always a summary about what you learned and also you can prepare for the next week. Throughout the second week, you will learn more about a fashion story. In the first activity, you get to know about the “iconic” suit that was created by Marks and Spencer to demonstrate what the future in the suit world could look like. The other topic is The wear2 project. The aim of this project is to show a way to remove branding from clothing so that it can be recycled and reworn. This further potential is to remove labels, buttons and other items from clothing so that the item can be broken down into its constituent parts and recycled appropriately. In activity two is your turn to tell a story of a fashion innovation that inspires you. The next step is to create an educational video and get to know how to exactly produce a video by yourself. When you have finished the second week as well you have the opportunity to complete this test in order to earn a Certificate of Achievement.
