easily.

tool for managing work, clients, and
practice.
QuickBooks Self-Employed - aids in
servicing Schedule C clients.
QuickBooks Online Payroll - simplifies
payroll management.
QuickBooks Time - time-tracking solution
for small businesses.
ProConnect - offers tax-preparation
offerings for professional accountants.
TurboTax - provides effortless tax filing for
individuals; and
Mint - delivers financial tools and insights
for smart money management.
b. ProAdviser Program
The ProAdvisor Program offers rewards for
activities such as QuickBooks Online
training, adding clients, and attaching
software, along with access to training,
support, marketing resources, and exclusive
discounts. Becoming a Certified ProAdvisor
enables listing in the Find-a-ProAdvisor
directory for increased client attraction.
Point System:
25 points:
- Add a QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription for a client
50 points:
- Add a QuickBooks Online subscription for a client
- Add a QuickBooks Online Payroll Core or Premium
subscription for a client
75 points:
- Add a QuickBooks Online Payroll Elite subscription for a
client
- Add a QuickBooks Online Advanced subscription for a client
100 points:
- Complete certification for QuickBooks Online
- Complete certification for QuickBooks Payroll
- Complete certification for QuickBooks Desktop
- Complete certification for QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
- Purchase ProAdvisor Deluxe or Premium for desktop (once
per year)
200 points:
- Complete advanced certification for QuickBooks Online
c. QBO Mobile App
The QuickBooks Online mobile app is a free
tool for clients with any QuickBooks Online
subscription, enabling them to
conveniently handle bookkeeping tasks on
their mobile devices. The app provides
features such as creating and managing
estimates, invoices, and sales receipts,
accessing customer information, receiving
payments, tracking expenses and mileage,
and downloading and matching bank
transactions. However, certain functions
like managing the chart of accounts are not
currently supported in the mobile app.
II. Getting Started
The end-to-end accounting lifecycle is a range of
workflows to do throughout the year to
understand the state of a business (either yours
or your client’s) and streamline tax preparations.
The lifecycle can be broken down into these
workflows:
Weekly: Record and review transactions
Monthly: Analyze and reconcile the books
Quarterly: Evaluate and maintain finances
Annually: Finalize books and report taxes
