BSN3-E DEATH BECOMES HER; A REFLECTION Death has been with us, humanity since the beginning of time and yet when it takes its strike, it brings forth a shocking check of reality as if it was happening for the very first time. Each of us are aware of the inevitability of death to all living organisms and yet we still live and consider death as though it was distant and something that only happens to others. What we don't realize is that the moment we're born, death is the one thing that is certain and purely destined to occur, no matter what time and place we are in and this knowledge should influence the way we live and value life together with those around us. After watching the movie “ Death becomes her” I have learned a lot of lessons, but before I jump to my reflection, I am beyond happy and enjoyed by the movie, moving on, the movie has shown to me the importance of friendship and acceptance combined with forgiveness, often, we encounter people in our lives and build bonds with them, but those bonds are not really flaws-free, challenges are always present and we undergo misunderstandings that lead to conflict, furthermore, as the movie emphasized the rival between the two female actresses because of a man and their obsession to stay young forever had me realized the fact that, nothing is really worth the argument especially if it’s not really something to fight for, all of us can gain our own happiness and we do not need to fight over something and eventually ruin ourselves, in the movie, both of the female main characters drank a potion in guarantee of their eternal youths, all of us are afraid of death and are neophytes about the afterlife, but death itself is inevitable and it’s part of life, the more we hold onto the belief that life does not come to an end and we can do something to extend it and live forever, teh harder it si to accept the fact that it really coems to an end no matter what, vanity is never eradicated in our mental construct as well as greed in our actions, but these twio acts are concrete in nature and there is something we can do to get out of it and live a fulfilled life, changing how we think and redirecting our steps to correct our wrongs can be our first step to achieve life fulfillment, death is just around the corner and it can strike anytime, life is invetibale and we have to live it to the fullest. In conclusion, life is full of challenges be it intra or interpersonally, we cannot really deviate from these, death is part of life, we must accept the fact that everything comes to an end, but despite that end, we can still create a fulfilled and memorable life by being kind, understanding, and equal with those around us, death may be a scary thing but it is something that prompts us to take action, to prepare and to be grateful of what we are given, from the things that we have to the life we’re living, until then, death becomes us.
