will involve the use of Access (Lesson 5) and Excel (Lesson 6).

login to Moodle and the Zoom session of our online class.

There are desktop computers in DLB 302 for your use. So, you don’t need to bring your laptop.
However, if you prefer using your own laptop for the in-class activities (e.g. exercises and
assignments), make sure that you have Microsoft Office installed on your device* as the inclass activities will involve the use of Access (Lesson 5) and Excel (Lesson 6).
* Under the Microsoft Campus Agreement, HKBU students are eligible to install
Microsoft Office Pro Plus 365 for home use. The software is available for download from
ITO’s website (https://o365.hkbu.edu.hk).
Points to Note
For Windows users: both Excel and Access are available for installation.
For Mac users: Access is not available! So, you should seek your own way to handle the
issue, for example:
•
Borrow a Windows device with Access installed from your friend before you attend
Lesson 5.
•
Attend Lesson 5 at DLB 302 (on-campus class) and use the desktop computers there.
