New York Times Article Written by Mariana Chaves Otero Woman Found Dead! Young woman was found with her neck cracked in a barn near the Salinas Area in a place called “Tyler Ranch” yesterday afternoon. Coworkers say it was an accident, but the suspect is still missing. A middle-aged man named Lennie Small is believed to be the main suspect in the police investigation, for the murder of a young woman inside a barn, near the Salinas Valley. This man is facing 35 years of prison and another 5 years if he does not turn himself in. Close friend of the suspect states: “Lennie’s a good guy, he don’t mean no harm. He’s jus’ too strong for his own good.” He has also included that this man has a mental disability due to childhood head trauma, therefore he is highly dangerous if not controlled. Investigation continues in search of wanted criminal Lennie Small for sexual assault and murder. The woman was found lying on the ground dead when an elderly worker at the ranch found her, as he soon alerted the other members, she became deceased. The 18year-old woman had long black hair, green eyes, her skin tone was fair, and she was wearing a long red-flowered dress. If identified, please report to the Sheriff’s Office. This woman was wife of a man named Curley West, he says: “I didn’t find her, but I knew what she was doin’. Lennie Small is very stupid to think that I will not find ‘im and turn ‘im in.” This is a picture of the barn where the woman was killed. Photo taken by James William Grace. There is an ongoing autopsy of the woman’s body to obtain some fingerprints of the suspect. An interview with the suspect’s supervisor demonstrates that the suspect actually attacked the victim’s husband and broke his arm, “he was only using his fist and Lennie completely wrecked his arm” says his supervisor. All of Lennie Small’s felonies lead the investigation crew to believe that the suspect has a possibility of being on a crime marathon. This man already has a criminal record of sexual assault and animal harassment. Therefore, if you see this man, run away and call 911 because “we have no telling on what he’s going to do next” says the Investigation Crew and the Sheriff of the Salinas Area.
