My Career Plan
My career goal is to be a general surgeon based on internal medicine. The reason why I
choose to be in this profession is so that I can help people struggling of immune diseases and any
illnesses relation to it. My objective is to graduate, give it my all, and acquire knowledge that will
allow me to be recognized as having the best understanding in this field. The skills which I think
I have obtained are adapting to the environment, determination and persistence, and selfmotivation. I also have an interest in reading, so it would be very useful considering that medical
courses are focused on memorization and a lot of knowledge to acquire based on textbooks. When
planning on executing these goals, you need to be fully prepared because it can be a very
demanding. The mentality that you need for this can be exceptionally high and keeping your
encouragement with your chosen career can be hard if you aren’t mentally and physically oriented.
Also take to consideration that the life you are trying to mold now cannot be possible if you don’t
believe in yourself first, be your number one supporter. In order to achieve this expectancy, you
need is self-motivation and mind management because know that in some scenarios all you need
is yourself and not others. Take the time to accept the failures and little success or achievement,
time will soon come when it is your turn. Believe on the possibilities do not try to think that all
you can ever do is the minimum. Try to excel from all your limitations but with the restraint of
transience. I will be a Doctor, a General Surgeon in internal medicine and I will do anything at all
cost to be a skillful and reliable physician. I will not take anything for granted and I will stay as
humble as I could ever be in order to be the person I dream to be.
