Question 1 Q.1.1 . Respecting each in class and being quite while the other is talking and not interrupt other peers. . Learners to be free in class . Learn to communicate well with other peers in a respectful manner. . Learn in language that is comfortable to them, which is home language. . Always do their best in class and that no is right or wrong. . Q. 1. 2. 1 In 2000 the inclusive education was not yet established which mean that simphiwe was at a disadvantage, because we were less likely to attend school less like the other children. According to, best practice for Inclusion (1994), even though he maybe was going chances of dropping were more because of his learning barriers. The new Inclusive education that is established will help Simphiwe a lot, as the department in south Africa has made available a teacher assistant. That means that the child can have assistance when they are struggling in class with following or are a slow leaner. The inclusive education has also included means of helping children Simphiwe in particular his disabilities through individual case their social behaviour and in improving their communication and self-esteem. This inclusive also promotes culture respect and the sense of belonging, with that means it gives children the opportunity to learn about each other’s individual differences and learn to accept one another, (Best practice for Inclusion, 1994). Q.1.2.2 In joseph case the non-inclusive education affected him in a way that he was not able to depend on oh his sight to get information which was difficult to learn and had to use other means to learn I class. Therefore, Joseph needed extra attention to learn in class which the teacher was not able to give. According to (Best practice for Inclusion, 1994). In the Inclusive education its better because the teachers are better equipped on how to teach learners with his difficulty. The new education has also introduced new support material to help learners like Joseph, where in class the teacher know they must use large texts for the learners who have visual problems, (Best practice for Inclusion, 1994). The learners are now freer to ask the teacher for help when they need one, and the environment of the schools have now improved where as the noise of other classes are being controlled by classes that are billed apart from each other. That way noise is controlled for those learners Q.1.3 q.1.3.2 It was held in New York city, wallenfeldt. q. 1.3.3 Content, medium of instruction, INED7211 MODULE (2021). q.1.3.3 it was held in San Francisco, in California, in USA, Q.1.3.4 Question 2 Q.2.1 Branfonbrenner’s system: According to Guy-Evans (2020), Branfonbrenner was an American psychologist who recognized that there are many ways of developing a child’s life, ways that would connect and would affect the child. Guy-Evans (2020), states that Branfonbrenner proposed the ‘Ecological System Theory’ based on the dynamic interactions that the environment have on the developing child. Branfonbrenner later developed a model of child development based on ecological system theory, INED7211 MODULE Reader (2021:16). It is said that these systems are made up of roles that will shape the development of the children. • The microsystem- micro system relates to things that have a direct contact with the child in their quick environment, example like family, classroom or it could be also the neighbourhood and sometimes even the child’s peers. The child’s response to individuals during their microsystem can influence how they treat those individuals in return, Guy-Evans (2020). • Mesosystem- it includes different interactions between the child’s microsystem, interaction between the child’s parents and the teachers, or even between school peers and siblings.in other terms mesosystem is where a child’s induvial microsystem is not working alone but is linked and working upon the influence of one another, Guy-Evans (2020). Example is when the parent of a child is communicating and working with the teacher for the sake of a child’s development. • Exosystem- Exosystem this one combination of other formal and informal social structures, that they do not carry the child, but influence indirect as they affect one of the microsystems, Guy-Evans (2020). Example is the parent has a dis-agreement at work with their employer, they then come home and has a short temper and takes all the anger from the dis-agreement at work and uses it on the child. That incident mite affects the child negatively and resulting in affecting a child’s development. • Macrosystem- this system’s focuses on how cultural factors affect the child’s development, things such as wealth, poverty, and socioeconomic status, Guy- Evans (2020). Example a child living in an urban or in a city will experience a different development that a child growing up in a rural area. • Chronosystems- this system is made up of all the environment changes that happen in life which influence the development of the child, that includes crucial transition such as events that throughout the country and the world even, Guy-Evans (2020). Example is when the parents are divorced and now, they each marry different people while the child is young. Question 3 Socio-economic is the status of an induvial, one that made of social standing or class on an induvial. It is considered to be different things such as income, education, and occupation. In the study case above for Lionel losing his father at a you age will affect him in a negative way, because him and his family were provided everything by his father and his mother was a housewife. After the death of his father his family status had to change, as the person who was providing for them is no longer there. Therefore, Lionel and his siblings will be affected negatively by this, this will now increase the lack of childcare as their mother will have to work to provide for the family. The passing of Lionel’s father will also affect the economic status of the family, they will now not afford some things they were able to when the father was alive. The new situation of Lionel’s family will also increase stress on the children as they were still grieving but they will now also have pressure of taking on responsibilities of the dead parent to assist his mother. According to Li (2022), All of this means that the child will result in the child’s psychosocial well -being. Meaning the child will now have a changed behaviour, they will have increased stress and will probably have problems with sleeping as well. This will affect a child in school as they may not be able to learn well, they may not concentrate at school, the child might also develop a negative attitude. Reference: Guy-Evans, O. 2020.
