WORK IMMERSION
This refers to the subject of the SHS Curriculum which involved
Hands-on Training and Experiences on Work Simulation in which
Learners can apply their Competencies and Acquired Knowledge
relevant to their chosen Track/Strand.

B. Appreciating Credentials
1. Writing Resume
Your resume is your passport to your work immersion, where yo
are tasked with proving the skills you have listed in the
qualifications summary or career objective. When it comes to
labeling this section some use “Relevant Experience,” or “Work
Experience” as an alternative to “Professional Experience.”

2. Filing Out Application Form
Application forms are often sent out with an information pack, so
have the job description, your CV and any other information to
hand. Application forms can be complex and time-consuming, but
they don’t have to cost you your chance of an interview for work
immersion.

3. Securing Clearances
If the position requires access to classified information, use of
facilities and amenities the position will be given an appropriate
security classification. Individuals applying to these positions must
undergo a personnel security background investigation and the
best example is security clearance.
