Bamba Title: QA/QC Officers Reference Document: Date: System/Equipment Of QAQC-IROGPP-000 API 510 22nd July, 2023 UNIT:20 DEETHANIZER REBOILER (E240) Introduction/ An on-stream external visual inspection was conducted on Deethanizer Summary: Reboiler vessel at GPP unit 20, in accordance with API 510. The inspection was conducted to determine the coating status of vessel and its associated hardware (tubing, supports, flanges, nozzles,) and to check for corrosion, signs of leakages on the vessel to assure continued vessel integrity. SECTION 1 The inspection revealed no signs of corrosion and no coating failure on vessel. However, mild uniform corrosion was noted on anchor bolts, the Insulation, gauge connections, and earthing were all in good condition as at the time of inspection. No leakage was observed during the inspection. The vessel was in serviceable condition as at the time of inspection. This is an insulated horizontal coated carbon steel vessel with stainless steel instrumentation. The vessel was examined for leakages, corrosion, coating, insulation and instrumentation serviceability. The vessel was generally in good condition. However, mild localised corrosion was visible on the anchor bolts and on skid due to water accumulation at the base. Insulation was in good condition. No yielding or sign of leakages were seen on the flange connections and welds. SECTION 3 The vessel (E-240) was in serviceable condition as at the time of inspection. Recommendations /Challenges: RESPONSIBLE SUPERVISOR /MANAGER 1. Anti-corrosion works should be carried out on corroded areas 2. Holes should be drilled through the skid to prevent further accumulation of water. 3. All anchor bolts should be greased to prevent further corrosion. 4. CMLs on pipeline should be monitored frequently for CUIs. Name, Job Title Sign Date : : : : Solomon M. Blay Asst. MANAGER QA/QC Dept.
