I am writing to express my interest in the Digital Business Analyst Internship for the summer of 2023 at the Chicago office. The work at Caterpillar is a truly unique opportunity for me as it combines my education and work experience in economics and data analysis with my interest in the digital and technology industry. I attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I am an honors economics major with a minor in data science. I have gained analytical skills and a keen eye for quantitative data. I have Python experience and will study various data visualization tools and R programming language this fall. After my first year at UW-Madison, I have become a co-founder of the Health and Wellness Club at UW, a Recruiting Chair at Delta Upsilon Fraternity, and a member of the UW Blockchain Club, which has helped me further improve my communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. This summer, I am interning at Personal Digital Spaces, a startup offering a blockchain-backed application platform for cataloging, licensing, tracking, and monetizing digital assets. My responsibilities include working on a crypto-economic model, researching and evaluating industry solution providers’ infrastructure and functionality, and identifying growth opportunities. My education and experience have helped me to grow my driven personality, data and technical skills, communication and analytical abilities, creative problem-solving, and team spirit. Thank you for taking the time to review my attached resume, and look forward to hearing more about Caterpilla and the Digital Business Analyst Internship opportunity.
