GALATIANS FINAL APPLICATION
The book of Galatians is truly an epistle that is written to bring freedom that comes from the faith that is
in Jesus Christ for me and particularly for the Church in Nigeria and Africa, I have a lot of negative
experience growing as a young convert even up till the year 1994, The church I attended taught that
women should not put on jewelries, braid or relax their hair and should not put on trousers which they
termed is men close, and also for a man to put on Jeans material is canal, and this guided my way of
living and looked at Christians from different denomination who don’t dress like our church as canal
Christians, that’s not all, it also limited me from mingling with believers from other denomination and
also honouring invitation to attend church programs of other churches, I walk in this ignorance for
several years until God lead me out of that church to attend a bible school, what happened on that very
day reminds me of what it means to be delivered from the bondage of the devil, for as I stepped my feet
on the step leading to the office of the bible school, I felt a heavy load physically lifted off my head, and
from that day till date I have known what it means to walk in the grace whereby I have been set free.
These go to show that we cannot create holy standard by our own works, but through the grace that
Christ has given to us.
