King Charles III is the longest serving heir and has been involved with the monarchy for many years proving he has the potential to be a great King with the opportunity to lead one of the largest monarchies in the world. King Charles III could potentially earn the title of a great King as he has shown many qualities of a leader and has proved himself capable throughout his life. King Charles III’s extensive experience with monarchy and public life, his adaptability and willingness to embrace new technology, and his commitment to addressing important issues and engaging with the public all make him well-suited to be an effective king (Britannica 2022). King Charles III's wide background in the monarchy and public life makes him a potential great leader. With a background in politics, history, and the duties of the monarchy, Charles has spent his whole life preparing for the position of king. He has also been active in society, joining several non-profit and government agencies. Charles' understanding of the function and duties of the monarchy is one of the primary ways that his experience has equipped him to be a successful king. Charles has a solid awareness of the symbolic and ceremonial responsibilities of the royal family because of his education in the history and customs of the monarchy. His ability to represent the nation and its citizens will be significantly assisted by this understanding. Charles has had the chance to acquire both theoretical knowledge about the monarchy and actual experience in public life. He has supported numerous charitable organisations as their patron or president and actively promoted social and environmental causes. This experience has given him a distinctive perspective on the demands and worries of the 3 people, and it has given him the knowledge and skills required to deal with these problems in his position as king. Charles has also proven to be a capable and determined leader. In his role as Prince of Wales, he has made challenging choices and shown a willingness to speak out on controversial topics. He will be able to handle the difficulties that every monarch must face and make wise judgements that are in the best interests of the nation and its citizens thanks to his leadership experience. Overall, Charles is well-suited to be a successful king due to his broad experience in both the monarchy and public life. He possesses the knowledge, abilities, and leadership knowledge necessary to represent the nation and its citizens fairly and effectively. These accomplishments suggest that he has the ability to effectively lead and manage a complex organization, such as the British monarchy (Royal Family n.d.). Over the course of his life, King Charles III has shown that he is flexible and eager to adopt new technology. In 2013, Charles took over the monarchy after his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away. King Charles has made a concerted effort to modernise the monarchy and keep up with the evolving requirements of the British people during his time. Charles' usage of social media is one way he has proven his adaptability. He was one of the first royal family members to use social media sites like Twitter and Instagram to communicate with the public and share information about his profession and charitable activities. Charles has embraced social media for communication as well as for the advancement of environmental concerns. One example is his "Start With One Thing" campaign, which urged individuals to make small alterations to their everyday routines in order to lessen their carbon footprint. He is more than just a social media user when it comes to technology. He was also a pioneer in the use of video conferencing, holding virtual meetings and communicating with his team and supporters throughout the COVID-19 pandemic using tools like Zoom and Skype. Charles even arranged a 4 virtual summit on the issue of climate change, inviting academics and world leaders to debate solutions to the problem. He strongly supports the adoption of organic and regenerative farming practises and is an outspoken supporter of sustainable agriculture. In an effort to minimise carbon emissions and save the environment, he also supports the growth of green energy sources like wind and solar power. King Charles III has been able to successfully navigate the challenges and changes throughout the years thanks to his ability to adapt and willingness to embrace new technologies. He has influenced the world for the better by using his platform and influence to advance essential causes (Washington Post 2022). King Charles III has repeatedly shown a commitment to dealing with significant issues and interacting with the public. He underlined the necessity for immediate action to address the climate issue and safeguard the natural world in his first national address. He vowed to cooperate with the government and civil society in order to find solutions to these urgent problems. He also highlighted the significance of addressing social and economic inequalities. King Charles III's dedication to addressing significant concerns goes beyond his public remarks and speeches. In addition, he has made significant attempts to address these problems, both personally and by aiding others in their work. For example, he has prioritised encouraging sustainable behaviour inside the royal household and has supported groups that encourage environmental protection and sustainable development. As a result of everything that has been said so far, King Charles III has a considerable amount of potential to be a great leader. Prince Charles III inherited the new position of British monarch following the untimely death of Queen Elizabeth II, although many people weren't happy with the transition.
