Green has been appointed by client for a period of three (3) to render Boiler Service for various
institutions. A service level agreement (SLA) has been signed and the works are being carried out
to suit this agreement.
The aim of this report is to present a contextual of how the project will be unfold and ensure mutal
understanding by the client of Green plant of action and timelines the deliverable
years Mechanical Framework Contract. This contract is based on Upgrade and Maintaining
Laundry Mechanical Assets (Washing Machine, Sluice Machine, Ironing Machine and Machine
Dryer at the different institutions that have been allocated for the period of 3 Years. All this
equipment must be maintained of supplied under the IUSS standard and complied under South
African National Standard (SANS) 10146 and 1044.
Laundry Condition Assessment Report (LCAR)
Client is of the Three (3) Hospital that are situated under District but it falls under town. It is one
of the district hospitals that have been supporting the Mines Industrial in surrounded area and the
community.
The laundry condition assessment report had been conducted through visual inspection, condition
monitoring / preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, emergency breakdowns and
turnaround time of availability of mechanical and electrical spares in the market.

Scope of Work
The work consists design asset or system, supply, delivery onsite, commissioning, training staff,
refurbishment plant room and decommission existing assets and leave onsite before leave all
mechanical assets operate at the full capacity. The contractor Green) will be liable to provide
maintenance of new equipment at the period of 12 month before handed over to the institution.
The scope are as follows:

Supply One Industrial (1) New Washing Machines, incorporating Dosing pumps.

Supply One Industrial (1) New Sluice Washing Machine, incorporating Dosing pumps

Supply One Industrial (1) New Ironing Machine

Supply One Industrial (1) New Air Dryer Machine

Supply Once Off Consumable Washing Liquid Soup 10 x 25L (25 liter)
Mechanical Standards and Specification for Laundry Equipment
Other than Central Laundries, equipment shall be kept to a standard size at all Health
Institutions to suit the application and shall comply with the following sizes for which technical
specifications are available. Rev 1

Sluice Machine (9 to 25kg).

Roll Ironer single roll (1.9 to 2.0 metres)

Washer Extractor (23 to 34kg)

Side Loading Washing Machine (67kg)

Electrically heated Tumble Drier (23 to 34kg)

