Language acquisition is one of the most fundamental human traits, and it is obviously the brain
that undergoes the developmental changes.
The main parts of the brain involved in language processes are the Broca's area, located in the left
frontal lobe, which is responsible for speech production and articulation, and the Wernicke's area,
in the left temporal lobe, associated with language development and comprehension
. Certain parts of the brain are responsible for understanding words and sentences.
It is through learning another language that students can develop both these skill sets.
La adquisición del lenguaje es uno de los rasgos humanos más fundamentales, y obviamente es el
cerebro el que sufre los cambios de desarrollo.
Las principales partes del cerebro involucradas en los procesos del lenguaje son el área de Broca,
ubicada en el lóbulo frontal izquierdo, que es responsable de la producción y articulación del
habla, y el área de Wernicke, en el lóbulo temporal izquierdo, asociada con el desarrollo y la
comprensión del lenguaje.
Ciertas partes del cerebro son responsables de comprender palabras y oraciones.
Es a través del aprendizaje de otro idioma que los estudiantes pueden desarrollar ambos
conjuntos de habilidades.
