For example, my internship at Fitness International LLC gave me a great opportunity to grow my networking and relationship skills with clients and other professionals in my line of work. In order to complete a project such as making a Norwalk LA Fitness ADA-compliant, I had to reach out, negotiate, and maintain relationships with several vendors such as plumbers, club managers, carpenters, and tilers. Having to keep everyone on the same page gave me valuable interpersonal and communication skills. Through my role as a leader in the Grand Challenges program at Georgia Tech, I honed and demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills. As my team's project lead, I orchestrated a team of four members, coordinating schedules, facilitating meetings, and delegating tasks to maximize project efficiency. This collaborative leadership approach not only allowed for seamless teamwork but also played a significant role in securing the approval of our prototype by professors. Throughout the year-long project, many obstacles arose, such as improper experiments, lack of involvement, and dead-end ideas.
