Many people look to dieting as a way to lose weight and improve their lifestyles. One diet that people
have tried is vegetarianism. Vegetarianism is a diet that where a person consumes food from plants,
rice, and wheat. Vegetarianism is a divisive subject, as some believe that vegetarians are missing key
nutrients from animals and protein-rich foods. On the flip-side, others feel that too much animal
consumption leads to health problems. Furthermore, vegetarians often do not eat meat due to the moral
ties that come from eating animals. In my opinion, I think it depends on the person, everyone is
different, and certain people have different reactions to certain things, therefore I cannot necessarily
agree or disagree with vegetarianism, certain people may practice it and have no bad effects, while
some people may not have their needs met by vegetarianism. Though there are many pros and cons to a
vegetarian diet, the diet that works optimal for the individual is the best diet that a person can do.
