Bamboo chef restaurant in Kinni Mulki, Udupi is most
definitely not shy of space. Named for bamboo biryani,
Design wanted to create a comforting, rustic setting in city
that wouldn't compromise on sophistication. Cleverly
restricting the elements bamboo (a modern creation) and wood (an
age-old resource), the interior channels a vibe that's sharp and
attractive. The all-day dining has
carved its own niche in Udupi throng
of successful restaurants.
When it opens for breakfast, the
fabricated glass and glass doors
open, making bamboo restaurant
informal, like a ‘street side café'. In
the evenings, through the glass
doors, it gives a glimpse of a private eat. Pvc wooden floor keeps
people engaged while they eat
Bamboo-finish which forms the
focal point of the restaurant,
contrasts sharply with the bamboo
walls. The wire objects on the wall
have been carefully chosen from
the traditional also bamboo add to
the rawness of the space. The
very silhouette of the restaurant
wooden wall pannling , fabricated chair remains simple and
straightforward, which is a smart
move made by Rustic Design.
