Throughout history, women have
been pushed down by society,
especially in the Latino, Chinese,
and American culture. We weren’t
able to vote until 1920 in the U.S.,
and even now society tries to
control us. They try to silence us
and put us back in the house just
as our ancestors did. Yet we say
no more. Today we stand up for
women in all cultures to remind
them of the power that they have.
