To help maintain an environment of fair competition, students, faculty, and teacher's assistants
in the Foundation of Engineering Lab will uphold a standard of ethical conduct. The Honor Code

Students will not give or receive unpermitted aid in assignments, written reports, or
intentionally or carelessly presenting the words or ideas of another as one's own. Or in any
other work that is to be used by the instructor as the basis of grading;
Students will do their share and take an active part in seeing that others and themselves
uphold the spirit of USF Regulation 3.027-Academic Integrity of Students.
Students will refrain from grade grubbing. It is unprofessional, unfair to other students, and
detrimental to their reputation - as such, it will not be tolerated.
Students will bring to the instructor's attention any negative conditions or incidents of
academic dishonesty.
Each student have read and understand the syllabus and all its content.
The faculty, on its part, manifests its confidence in honor of its students by refraining from
taking unusual and unreasonable precautions to prevent the forms of dishonesty mentioned
above. The faculty will also avoid, as far as practicable, academic practices that create
temptations to violate the Honor Code.
