1- A cube ABCDA1B1C1D1 of side 4cm rests on its lower base ABCD in HP. It is then rotated
such that its vertical face ABB1A1 makes an angle of 45° to VP. Draw the projection of the
cube known that point A(3,3,?) and x coordinate of point D is a positive value.
2- A regular pentagonal prism with base ABCDEA1B1C1D1E1 of side 3cm and height 6cm, its
long edge AA1 is laying on VP such that its rectangular face ABB1A1 incline at 45° to the VP
and perpendicular to HP. Draw its projection known that point A(?,2,?) and y coordinate value
of point E is less than zero.
3- A hexagonal pyramid with base ABCDEF of side 3cm and height 6cm is resting with its base
on HP. the base edge AB is inclined at 60° to VP. Draw its projections known that point
A(2,2,?) and y coordinate of point C is less than of point B .
4- Draw the projection of cylinder with diameter of the base 5cm and axis 7cm long with its axis
perpendicular to VP and 4cm above HP; the base being 3cm away in front of VP and its axis
being 2 cm away right of P.P.
5- A cone with base 6 cm diameter and axis 8 cm long lies on a point of its base on VP such that
the axis makes an angle 45° with VP. Draw the projections of the cone.
6- A hexagonal pyramid with side of base 5 cm and height 8 cm stands with its base on HP and
an edge of the base parallel to VP. It is cut by a plane perpendicular to VP, inclined at 30° to
H.P and passing through the mid-point of the axis. Draw the (sectioned) top view and develop
the lateral surface of the truncated pyramid.
7- A square prism of side of base 3 cm and axis 7 cm long is resting on its base on HP. such that
a rectangular face is parallel to VP. It is cut by a section plane perpendicular to VP and inclined
at 300 to HP. The section plane is passing through the right top end of an extreme lateral edge
of the prism. Draw the development of the lateral surface of the cut prism.
8- A cylinder of diameter of base 7 cm and height 8 cm is standing on its base on HP. A cutting
plane perpendicular to VP and inclined at 1350 to HP passes through the left extreme point of
the top base. Develop the lateral surface of the truncated cylinder.
9- A cone of diameter of base 7 cm and height 8 cm is cut by horizontal cutting plane at 3 cm
from the vertex. Draw the development of the truncated cone.
