To further discuss, this also assess to enhanced the understanding of the students regarding different words and how they can use it in a sentence effectively. Specially to develop an efficient way to teach the students the basics of daily conversation without having the trouble to think of a word to use and not being afraid of using the language in speaking and be more confident. This will motivate the students to achieve their future endeavours without being afraid of being judge by people around them. The study of relationship between English Vocabulary and Confidence in Speaking English reveals the result were highly positive correlation which mean there are a relationship between the two variable. As what have presented in the table above the r value is 0.7082947728 or 0.7082 which interpret as High Positive Correlation. The research also shows that the English Vocabulary affects the confidence in speaking English of Grade 12 HUMSS students which leads to high positive correlation. The learners’ ability to communicate effectively depends on a good knowledge of vocabulary, which they continue to expand throughout their life span. Proficiency in English language depends on the knowledge of its vocabulary possessed. The research has p value of 0.21906 which is lower than the alpha which means that the researchers reject the null hypothesis of their research.
