Augusta County Lab Safety “Quick” Check This is a checklist to quickly and easily evaluate the readiness of the safety equipment in your lab. As part of the OSHA Laboratory Standard, safety equipment must be checked on a regular basis. It is also a good policy to document your inspection. If problems are found, repairs must be made promptly. All inspection checklists should be compiled and a written report sent to the principal for prompt action. Answer yes or no, provide it’s location, provide a quick description, sketch a picture, and describe why and how it would be used.
