Poetry generator
Effective in interactive Ipad lessons
https://www.poetrygames.org/
• Provides step-by-step
guidance on diverse poem
layouts and types.
• Learners can ‘screenshare’
and present their poems to
their entire classroom.
• All learners are actively
involved in the lesson.
KAHOOT
https://kahoot.com/
Effective application for interactive Ipad lessons on
revision/baseline assessment.

POWERPOINT GAME IDEA
Use a PowerPoint visual in
combination with physical
manipulations to assess learners.
This method can be used to classify
and sort information.
FIGURES OF SPEECH GAME – PLACE THE
CANDLE ON THE CAKE!
• Each learner receives a slip
(candle), and must select the
correct cupcake to place their slip
onto.
• The learner must explain their
choice to the class.
• Learners may ask their peers for
assistance.
RULES
• Divide your class into two teams.
• Use the “tap-in” method so that each teammate gets a chance
to present a slide.
• The presenters must not see the slides before presenting
them. All slides have to be presented in order and slides
are not allowed to be skipped.
• The rules for the slides are not defined very strictly. They
can either be about a “regular” topic (e.g. on a country, an
animal, a hobby), a complex topic (e.g. difficult concepts
of science), or about nothing at all really (just a bunch of
nonsense-slides open for creative interpretation).
