MIXOMAT A
Safety Devices
To comply with the EU Machine directive 2006/42/
EG the laboratory blender must be fitted with corresponding safety devices.
One double-sided versions, both hoods, which can
be individually opened, must be closed to start the
process.
Basically MIXOMAT A/AK Laboratory blenders are
equipped with a safety hood, which protects persons
from accidents. It consists mainly on a hood from
acrylic glass and a magnetic safety switch, which
allows to start the mixing process only while the
hood is completely closed.
It is possible to acquire the blender without safety
hood. In this case, the operator must make sure to
install such a device on site. It must comply with
the EU Machine directive 2006/42/EG!

Drum Holders
MIXOMAT A/AK Lab blenders come usually with a
type BV drum holders.
The drum is put on the bottom of the holder. Now,
the bracket is folded down and clamped by the
means of an eccentric fastener. A levelling foot is
pressured on the lid of the drum. It is also used to
„fine”-adjust the holder on the height of the drum.
Drum holders of the type BV can be customized and
adapted to customers drums. They are in stainless
steel, glass bead blasted.

Adapters for smaller drums on
standard holders
Basically it is possible to install on the same drum
holder drums of the same or smaller diameter.
It is possible to clamp drums with smaller diameter or
lower height by the means of an adapter stuck onto
the holder made of stainless steel St. 1.4301.
