Assistant Professor, UPL University of Sustainable Technology at Vataria, do
hereby submit this undertaking voluntarily.
2. That I will be bound by this undertaking till such time I am under consideration for
the post of Associate NCC Officer (ANO) and during my entire tenure as ANO
3. That I will conduct myself in accordance with NCC Acts 1948 and SNCCO 8/67 &
5/S/75 as well as other provisions of law, laid down policies, orders, rules and
regulations as well as letters of NCC in force at the relevant time and amended
/introduced from time to time.
4. That I will proceed for Pre-Commission course, Refresher course, Direct
commission course and all other training commitments as required by the NCC at
a place and dates as decided and intimated by the NCC. Further that, I will
proceed for attending outstation training / camps throughout the Union of India,
as decided by the NCC.
5. That I will report for all the classes, camps, conferences and other events of NCC
as directed by the concerned NCC officer, well in time. That I will take / conduct
all classes / training as per the NCC Training schedule and the laid down training
programme. I have also understood the concept and implications of NCC being
implemented as an Elective Subject.
6. That I will carry myself in accordance with highest standard of Conduct, Ethics,
Traditions and Character / Leadership qualities in keeping with the norms and
image of NCC. Further that I will be dressed up properly in the laid down uniform
in accordance with the rules / orders and carry / conduct myself in accordance
with the highest standard expected of an officer of the NCC.
7. That I will ensure Safety and Security of all cadets placed under my charge at all
times under all circumstances. Further that. I will ensure complete Security of all
Stores, Weapons, Arms, Equipment, other Items and documents as well as
information of NCC placed under my charge at all times under all circumstance.
8. I understand that the cadets entrusted to me are youth who deserve to be
nurtured, improved and developed with care, dignified conduct and proper
training and that no inadequacy in this respect is acceptable. Further that I am
bound to give a personal example of highest standard of Character, Leadership,
discipline, camaraderie, exemplary personality, sportsmanship, spirit of adventure
and sensitivity to Social issues.
9. That I will immediately report any wrong doings, deviation to above orders/act of
discipline on the part of any cadet / any other person / staff related to NCC
10. That I understand that violation of any of the above will render me liable for
appropriate action as per laid down orders / rules / act and also render me liable
for action by both the NCC as well as my Administration and Appointing authority.
11. That I will provide instantaneous solutions to problem of students and in case of
my inability to do so, project the same to my superiors in the Institute and the Unit
Commander (if applicable) without any delay.
12. That I will provide prospective, comprehensive and unhindered advice, support
and assistance to the Battalion / Sub unit Commander of NCC to facilitate
enrolment both quantitatively and qualitatively, Scheduling of Classes, Camps
and Exams and for mobilization of cadets for NCC activities including practical
and outdoor training.
13. That I will engage in providing creative ideas, imparting effective communication
skills, analytical skills, initiative and enthusiasm to shape the cadets as effective
leaders in all walks of life.
