We have a problem with our demos. They’re out of date and no two team members cover the same topics while presenting. Why hasn’t this been fixed already? Because we’re still a small team covering a large number of opportunities so there simply hasn’t been time... which is why I’d like to propose a solution that gets our demo standardized as quickly as possible and then set up a scalable, efficient process for keeping our demos up to date. The first solution to this problem was to create a standard demo. This will readily solve the issue of team members giving different presentations to our prospects. The demo can include all of the key features of our software that we want to demonstrate. When new features are added to the platform, we can add it to the standard demo, everyone won’t have to go through their demos and have to figure out how to add in the new features. The issue with this approach however is that we would have to pick a single use case. A single business problem. A single machine learning algorithm. A single set of tools. So it became clear that a second phase was needed to broaden our scope. We have a problem with our demos…. Phase 1….. - Single demo New versions released, one version to update Phase 1 requirements….. (my time) Phase 2…. Phase 2 requirements…. Summary… 10-20 hours of my time, replace time spent updating demos
