The mid-term project will require each team to develop an annotated outline that can be used by each candidate on the team to construct an individual time management plan. The outline narrative should be no more than five (5) typewritten double spaced pages in 12 point font, not including the Cover Page, Table of Contents, List of Reference and Appendices. Each team also will be responsible for making their outline available electronically to the other teams for purposes of information sharing. The outline should include a Cover Page, and Table of Contents, and the following narrative sections: introduction; purpose; goal(s) and objective(s); guiding principles; recommended procedures to help organize and prioritize competing activities (including personal and professional obligations, interests and demands); list of references used in developing the outline; and appendices. The appendices section must include but is not limited to: a resource list of three to five websites; a short list of helpful tips and reminders; and a check list or rubric for monitoring and evaluating time and management effectiveness. The appendices section should be no more than a total of four pages. The project will be evaluated based on the quality of its contents, organization, presentation, writing and practical utility. Please note that candidates will not be required to submit their individual time management plans for purposes of a grade. However, candidates are expected to develop and implement individual time management plans that should be used to guide and facilitate completion of the program of study within the required timeframe; and reviewed and refined periodically in consultation with their advisors, chairs and executive mentors.
