TASK SHEET 3.1-1 Title: TOMATO ROSE GARNISH Performance Objective: Given the appropriate tools and materials, you should be able to prepare tomato rose garnish by following the procedures. You are given 15 minutes to perform the task. Supplies/Materials : 2 pieces tomatoes Equipment : Paring knife Plate Chopping board Steps/Procedure: 1. Beginning at the top of a tomato, peel the tomato skin with a sharp utility knife. 2. The garnish works best if the peel is 3/4 “to 1” wide, is a continuous peel, and the peel is thin with very little flesh attached. 3.
