I am writing to express my interest in the Customer Service Assistant role at Lidl Supermarket. With

In my previous role as an Optical Assistant at Specsavers Opticians, I had the opportunity to work
closely with a diverse range of customers and assist them in choosing the perfect pair of glasses. I
always made sure to go above and beyond to make their shopping experience enjoyable and
memorable. For example, there was a customer who came in looking for a pair of glasses for her
elderly mother who was visually impaired. I spent a significant amount of time helping her try on
different frames and making sure that her mother was comfortable with the fit and style. The
customer was so grateful for my assistance that she wrote a letter of appreciation to the store
manager and even came back to the store to personally thank me.
My ability to listen actively and understand the needs of customers, along with my friendly and
approachable demeanour, has always made me a popular choice among customers. I have a deep
understanding of the importance of providing a high level of customer service and I am always
willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
