EM556S DIGITAL MICROSTEP DRIVE The Leadshine CS-D570E is a closed loop stepper drive designed to solve the step loss problem in open loop stepper control systems, increasing system reliability at a low cost. It is capable of powering 2-phase NEMA 23, 24, and 34 stepper motors equipped with incremental encoders. In comparison to standard open loop stepper systems, a CSD1008E adopted closed loop step system eliminates potential step loss, performs real-time position error correction, and does not require torque reservation. It can also power the driven stepper motor with less heating, noise, and vibration. S2: DIP SWITCH S3: CONTROL SIGNAL VOLTAGE SELECTOR (5V or 24V) S1: ROTATING SWITCH CS-D507E Closed Loop Motor 1. S3 – Control Signal Voltage Selector Configurations The 1-bit selector is located on the top is used to configure the voltage of control signals. For safety reasons, the factory setting is 24 V. When the voltage of the control signal is 5V, the S3 must be set to 5V, otherwise, the motor will not work. 24V 5V Control Signal Voltage Selector is set to 24V.
