INTRODUCTION
Allah subhanallahwataala mentioned in the Qur’an of Al-Tawbah with the translation,
“The believing men and women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is
right dan forbid what is wrong dan establish prayer dan give zakah and obey Allah
and His Messenger. Those, Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted
in Might and Wise”. (9:71)
Annual grand dinner Kulliyyah of Science is the event organized by Science
Students’ Society (SCIENCESS). This program gathers the staffs and students from the
Kulliyyah of Science for the celebration of graduating students. Its aim is to celebrate
the achievement of graduating students. This purpose is supported by the verse of the
Qur’an in which we are told to unify among Muslims and protect to each other to have
mercy from Allah S.W.T
This event is done in hopes of narrowing the gap between students and staffs
and eases every affair that may involve between these two groups of people.

BACKGROUND
Beside the purpose of strengthening the ukhuwah, this event is organized mainly
to celebrate the graduating students from Kulliyyah of Science. In this event, the
graduating students will be celebrated as their final gathering in being together
throughout the course of studies in Kuantan Campus before making their steps onto the
stage on the Convocation Day, ending their phase as undergraduate students. The
consensus of appreciation and words of wisdom will be expressed by the administrator
of the department in acknowledging the sacrifices and contribution of the students in
their studies and their involvement in the University’s activities.

To congregate the community of Kulliyyah of Science in a graduation night
event in expressing the sense of belonging.
To celebrate the graduating students and assemble them for the very moment
prior to their graduation.
To recognize and acknowledge the contributions, involvements, and sacrifices
made by the community in bringing continuous success and joy to the
department.

CONCLUSION
Annual Grand Dinner Kulliyyah of Science is undeniably an important event to
celebrate students especially from the final year. It is also done so as to instill their high
anticipation in attending this annual dinner with their hope in creating the best memories
throughout their study life in the university along with the proud expression in their belonging
in Kulliyyah of Science. Nevertheless, through this event, all aspects, perceptions, recognitions,
acknowledgements, and awards will be realized by the community of Kulliyyah of Science in
leading into a whole new stronger and long-lasting part of a family.
