You just bought a new laptop at a computer store. You discovered that the laptop was
faulty. You were also dissatisfied with the service provided by the company. Write a

I am writing to complain about a faulty laptop that I bought from your store and also about
the poor service provided by your company.

On 17th November 2020, I went into your store to buy a laptop. I asked your sales
assistant for advice and he repeatedly recommended the 322 Epison model because it was
the best option and following his advice, I bought the laptop.

The first time I used the laptop, it worked for only 10 minutes (1). When I was
following the first step on how to operate the laptop, suddenly the laptop made a strange
noise (2) which sounded like a whistle. After a few seconds, the screen went black (3). I
switched it on again but nothing appeared on the screen (4). After 5 minutes, a lot of smoke
came out (5) from the laptop and there was a burnt smell (6).

The same day, I phoned the customer service number of your company in the
internet; looking for an answer. I was on hold for twenty minutes (7). Finally, when I was
able to talk to your sales assistant, he sounded very rude (8). He told me to just buy a new
cable. Although I told him several times that I had just bought the laptop the day before,
your assistant just ignored explanation (9) and told me to buy a new cable. He even raised
voice (10) when I mentioned the two-year guarantee for the laptop!

Needless to say, I was quite disappointed. In the circumstances, I expect a full
refund or a new laptop. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
