ENTREPRENEURSHIP CULMINATING ACTIVITY NARRATIVE REPORT JUNE 15, 2023 Presented to the Nueva Ecija Senior High School Quezon District Cabanatuan City In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for Entrepreneurship of ALS Alternative Learning System By: Kurth F. Palcone INTRODUCTION The Department of Education conducted an Entrepreneurship Culminating Activity Program held at the Senior High School in Nueva Ecija. It was held on June 15, 2023 as part of the program for Alternative Education System (ALS). As an ABM ALS Student, this is my first time to know about a culminating activity. This culminating activity also know as a senior project is a challenge for me to experience and demonstrate my academic knowledge. I learned from my Academic Modules about Business Ethics and Social Responsibility, Accountabilities of Entrepreneurs. I learned that responsibilities and accountabilities of entrepreneurs to its employees, government, creditors and suppliers, I now know that responsibility is a duty and obligation and accountability is the obligation of one’s agreed rules and standard. I learned in Business Organization Contribution Purpose and Role to Socio Economic Development. I appreciate the role of Business Organization to the socioeconomic development. I can also identify business enterprises that give job opportunities, learn the importance of establishing and sustaining business enterprise as a source of job opportunities and financial freedom. As an ABM ALS Student, It is my best experience this culminating Activity. I applied all my academic knowledge to try to experience into performing in a small business so that I can start a business in the future. I take care of my health and I try not to consume foods that are harmful like beverages, soda and oily foods. But I want to start a business that is healthy and easy to prepare and I think of Macaroni Salad. Here is the recipe and my expenses: MACARONI SALAD Ingredients: 1 kl macaroni, boiled Procedure: 4 cups cooked chicken meat TOSS TOGETHER ALL INGREDIENTS W 2 cup grated cheese WITH PREPARED DRESSING. 4 small carrot, cubed 1 cup mayonnaise 2 tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt ½ cup raisin Expenses: 1 kl. Macaroni pasta P 94.00 440 grams Cheddar Cheese 220.00 500 grams Chicken Meat 200.00 250 grams carrots 30.00 470 ml mayonnaise 155.00 100 grams 54.00 20 pcs 110.00 Transportation Fee and other Fees Total Average Cost 200.00 Php 1,063.00 *20 Pcs Sold Out 100 per container Total Profit 937.00 My goal was simple to sell the product as soon as I prepared it and it must be sold out so that I can have the profit and I can enjoy the experience on my first investment. I now know my accountability as I prepare this food and sell it to the customers. My investment must be easy to prepare, profitable, customers are satisfied and I enjoy what I do. CONCLUSION They say money does not grow on trees, it can grow when you save and invest wisely. My experience on this culminating activity is I know now the few basic thing in Business that can start on a small budget. I profited when I sell the macaroni salad, I do my part and I earn money. I estimate my budget spending and I gain profit. With the help of my teacher, I learn about Business Ethics and Responsibility, Accountancy and Social Responsibility. I reflect on doing this small business can lead me to create more business for my future. I want to gain more profit and to experience to invest on bigger business and this culminating activity is my start up experience and I enjoy it.
