Zoiper 3.8 Agent Configuration Guide 1. Add the account as follows: a. Select → SIP b. Type: i. User: 1 ii. Password: 1234 iii. Domain: 1 c. Check the account. Click “next”. d. Select → “I know what I am doing, save this information anyway”. Click “next”. 2. Go to “Settings” → “Preferences”. 3. Click on “Accounts” tab. The configuration must be the same as follows in the “General” tab: a. Domain: 1 b. Username: 1 c. Password: 1234 4. Click on “Extra” tab. Uncheck the “Register on startup” box. 5. Click on “Codec” tab. u-law and a-law must be the selected codecs. 6. Click on “Advanced” tab. The configuration must be the same as follows: a. Uncheck: i. Subscribe presence ii. Publish presence b. Select: i. Use DTMF RFC-2833 ii. Use UDP transport iii. TLS with no SRTP iv. Don’t use STUN 7. Click on “Audio” tab. The configuration must be the same as follows in the “General” tab: 8. The configuration must be the same as follows on the “Device” tab. Note: the headset must be selected in all the “Audio devices options”. In some cases, Zoiper does not recognize the headset instantly, so you will need to save the actual configuration and proceed to exit and re-open Zoiper: 9. Click on “Advanced” tab. The configuration must be the same as follows in the “Network” tab: a. Uncheck: i. “Open random port above 32000” box ii. “Enable STUN” box 10. Save the configuration. Exit and open Zoiper.
