1. AS AN OWNER, WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO ALL THE FACILITIES?
Yes, all homeowners who reside within Copperhill Estate have full access to all the
facilities.
2. WHERE CAN MY GUESTS PARK?
Visitors will have designated parking bays.
3. HOW MANY PARKING BAYS DO I GET?
Each unit has been designated 2 covered parking bays.
4. HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO THE INTERNET and DSTV OVER FIBRE?
Each unit has a FTTH(Fibre-to-the-home) point. You can apply with the appointed fibre
and DSTV supplier who will connect you instantly.
5. WHO TAKES CARE OF THE MAINTENANCE OF THE BUILDINGS AND GARDENS?
THE CREST’s levies are R10.50 per m² which include all common area costs,
maintenance, insurance, management and all the associated costs to run the
development. These costs are not only realistic, but they are accurately calculated to
deliver more value for money. This monthly levy excludes the monthly contribution to
the HOMEOWNER’S ASSOCIATION which is approximately R100 per unit per month.
6. WHERE CAN I HANG MY WASHING?
We have designated drying yards where residents can hang their washing.
7. ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Yes, units with gardens may have pets if approval has been requested and obtained
from the Body Corporate.

8. CAN I PURCHASE AT THE CREST SUBJECT TO THE SALE OF ANOTHER PROPERTY?
No, due to the uncertainty of how long it will take to sell your home and the
conditions of sale at THE CREST to deliver guarantees within 30 days, you cannot buy
a unit subject to sale.
However, if your home has already been sold successfully, then please discuss this in
more detail with your sales consultant.
9. WHEN DO I START PAYING MY HOME LOAN?
You only start paying your home loan once the unit registers at the deeds office.
This is only after completion of your unit. However, you will be paying occupational
interest and levies from date of occupation until date of registration.
10. WILL THERE BE A HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCITION?
Yes, the developer of Copperhill Estate will construct three sectional title complexes
within the estate, THE VILLAS (which is completed), THE CREST (which is phase 2)
and THE RESIDENCES (which is phase 3). These phases will each have separate Body
Corporates. All owners of units in these three Body Corporates will become and
remain members of COPPERHILL HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION.
11. CAN I DO ADDITIONS OR EXPAND MY UNIT?
This is a sectional tile scheme and therefore has a Body Corporate with governing
conduct rules. Should you wish to make any changes that are visible from outside,
you will need to obtain written permission from the Body Corporate first.
