governed not just China but the entire known world.

title as the mandate of heaven.
Forbidden City
I will elaborate on why China was known as the forbidden city, including the benefits and struggles of
being emperor in the Forbidden City. I will also go in-depth as to why the geographical location of China
influenced the Chinese impact on the world and the perception of the emperor's role as “The Mandate of
Heaven.”
Body
The emperors role
I will elaborate on the expectations set upon the emperor and the power control he was given. I will also
talk about the first emperor of China and other past emperors, comparing how power control and
expectations changed throughout the dynasties.
The life of the emperor
I will talk about the many celestial beliefs placed on emperors, their daily routines, and their daily
decisions. This will also include marriage, family, and finances.
Conclusion

shaped the course of history and underscored the deep-rooted belief in the harmonious interplay
