The line graph illustrates the price of bananas in four different nations from 1994 to 2004. Overall,
compared to the increase in the banana price in Japan and the USA, the figure for France and Germany
had a slight fall over the 10-year period. Moreover, bananas were the most expensive in Japan when
being cheapest in the USA.
As for Japan, the cost of bananas per kilogram started at nearly 2 USD (US dollars) in 1994 and then
increased sharply before peaking at roughly 2.8 USD in 1995. After that, the banana price fell and
reached a low of just above 1.5 USD per kilogram in 2001 before rebounding at the end of the period,
with 2.5 USD in 2004. Meanwhile, the cost of bananas in the USA began at about 0.7 USD in 1994,
followed by an increase of approximately 1.1 USD in 1995 and a leveling off until 2004.
On the other hand, France and Germany witnessed a similar pattern over the given period/ over the
entire period. There was a period of stability in the price of bananas in France, which remained stable at
roughly 1.7 USD from 1994 to 1997. Next, the figure fluctuated wildly and reached the highest price
among countries in 2001, with 1.7 USD. In addition, the price reached a low of 1 USD in 2003 before
climbing to just over 1.5 in 2004. Meanwhile, the banana cost in Germany fluctuated around 1.4 USD in
the first seven years from 1994 to 2001 and then declined gradually to precisely 1.2 USD in 2004.
The line graph demonstrates how many travelers visited a Caribbean island with their decision on
staying on cruise ships or on the island, from 2010 to 2017. Overall, the number of tourists increased
yearly. In particular, those who chose to stay on cruise ships surpassed those staying on the island.
The number of visitors staying on cruise ships started the period at 0.75 M of visitors in 2010, about
0.5M higher than those on the island. Next, it climbed rapidly to 1.5M in 2013, followed by a leveling off
until 2017. Meanwhile, the figure for the island fluctuated around 0.5M and 1M from 2010 to 2013,
followed by a rocket rise to reach a peak of exactly 2M in 2017 and overtaking the number of visitors
staying on cruise ships.
As for the total, the given period witnessed a drastic growth in the total number of travelers who stayed
on cruise ships or on the island. To be more specific, the figure began at 1M in 2010 and then increased
